Tasmania Zoo Wildlife Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation, operating with the main objects of conservation, rescue, rehabilitation and protection of endangered and orphaned wildlife from here in Tasmania and across the globe.
Tasmania Zoo Wildlife Foundation contributes to the rescue and rehabilitation of native animals that are found sick, injured or orphaned across Northern Tasmania, with plans to construct a purpose built hospital to offer the specialised care these animals need. The Foundation aims to assist in the conservation of Vulnerable, Endangered and Critically Endangered species through the development of conservation breeding programs.
Through working with partner institutions, the Foundation aims to work towards conservation, rescue and research objectives. Tasmania Zoo Wildlife Foundation also seeks to advocate for the plight of animals in the wild and a sustainable environment through onsite and outreach educational and interpretative programs.
