In Tasmania, over 750 animals die as a result being hit by cars every single day. Tasmania Zoo Wildlife Foundation aims to be the leader in wildlife rescue and rehabilitation for Northern Tasmania, providing much needed care to sick, injured and orphaned local wildlife.
Tasmania Zoo Wildlife Foundation has set a goal of building a Wildlife Hospital for triage, treatment and care of wild animals until they return to full health. There is currently no veterinary care specifically specialising in injured and orphaned wildlife in the region through the Tasmania Zoo Wildlife Foundation’s Wildlife Hospital, we will change the way sick, injured and orphaned wildlife are treated in Northern Tasmania and offer them a second chance at life.
